What to Bring on a Spa Day at Eden Hall
Everything you need to pack for a Spa Day...
A Spa Day should feel effortless, the kind of day where you glide from the pool to the Spa Garden, wander to your treatment, and forget what time it is. At Eden Hall, we’ve made that as easy as possible… but there are a few little things worth popping in your bag to make the most of your visit.
Here’s your friendly guide on what to bring (and what to leave at home) for the perfect Eden Hall moment...
1. Swimwear
It’s an obvious one, but we’d hate for you to miss out on the bubbling hot tubs, thermal experiences or a relaxing float in our outdoor Hydrotherapy pool. Pack something comfortable, and if you’re planning plenty of Spa Garden time, maybe even bring a spare set.
2. Flip-flops or sliders
You’ll spend a lot of the day drifting between heat, water, and relaxation, so comfy footwear is essential. If you forget, don’t worry, our Spa Boutique has you covered.
3. Your favourite gym kit (or the one you promised you’d use)
If you fancy breaking up all that relaxation with a little movement, bring your gym wear and trainers. Our well-equipped gym is ready when you are, whether it’s a gentle stretch or a full-body session.
4. Water bottle
Hydration is the unsung hero of every great Spa Day, especially when you’re moving between heat experiences. It’s also essential after treatments, helping your body rebalance and make the most of every moment of calm.
Bring your reusable bottle to top up at our hydration stations. But, don't worry if you forget, we'll have cups ready for you just in case.
5. A good book for those quiet moments
Whether you settle into a loungers in the Spa Garden or curl up in a cosy corner of the Reflect & Relax room, a book makes the perfect companion between experiences. Just be warned… the chance of falling asleep mid-chapter is high.
6. Something soft to slip into for lunch
A Spa Day rule we’ll always stand by: comfort first.
You’re welcome (and we highly recommend) to dine in Taste of Eden in your robe, but if you prefer to pop something over the top, pack a loose, easy outfit.
7. Your class-ready mindset
From calming yoga to energising fitness sessions, we offer a whole timetable of complimentary wellness and fitness classes. If you’ve ever wanted to try something new, this is the place to do it. All you need is your gym kit and a little curiosity.
8. Skincare essentials (if you have favourites)
We provide everything you need to shower and freshen up, but if you have must-have products, bring them along. Alternatively, you might discover a new obsession during your treatment, our therapists use some truly gorgeous Elemis and Grown Alchemist favourites.
9. Hat and sunglasses for those sunshine moments
On bright, warm days, the Spa Garden is even more inviting. A hat and sunglasses will keep you comfortable while you unwind in the outdoor pool, stroll through the grounds or simply soak up the sunshine without the squint.
10. A hair tie
If you’ve got long hair, a hair tie is always a good idea. From steaming in the sauna to drifting between pools and steam rooms, it’s much easier to relax when your hair is up and out of the way. We highly recommend bringing one along, especially if you’re planning a spa treatment or making the most of all our Spa facilities during your Spa day or Spa break.
11. An open mind to do absolutely nothing
Perhaps the most important thing to bring: the permission to slow down. Wander the grounds, sip herbal tea in a quiet space, breathe out, and let the day unravel exactly as you need it.
