March's Treatment of the Month - Clarins Expert Facial

Do you want a super relaxing treatment? I can recommend Clarins Expert Facial – it’s great for skin that needs a little TLC.

I have just experienced 1 hour and 10 minutes of pure bliss and my skin looks and feels incredible!

My therapist Molly collected me from the therapy waiting area and took me into her beautiful treatment room. I instantly felt at ease, Molly was so calm and welcoming. She explained what would happen throughout the treatment before leaving me to make myself comfortable.  I got onto the couch and it was lovely and heated, and I was lying looking up at the ceiling looking at these twinkly lights that looked like stars in the sky!

Once settled, Molly re-entered the treatment room and started wiping over my hands and feet with warm mitts, this just instantly made me feel relaxed! Whilst Molly was doing this she asked me about my skin care regime and how I want my skin to feel and look after the treatment. I am quite good with my daily routine usually I cleanse, tone, add serum and moisture. I also use an eye cream daily, but I have noticed recently that my skin has been breaking out in blemishes and in need of a bit of extra attention. 

A skin analysis was then carried out. Molly started by feeling my skin so she could decide the best products for me.  This treatment can be tailor-made for any skin type and Molly carefully selected products that would help reduce my breakouts and give my skin the boost I needed! I couldn’t wait for the treatment to begin!

Beautiful essences of lemon and orange then filled the treatment room, it was heavenly. I closed my eyes, inhaled and exhaled deeply to relax. I could start to feel myself falling asleep.

Cool cotton pads were applied to my eyes and my skin was cleansed. The cleanser was applied in pressing movements so it can lift all traces of pollution and dirt off the skin. My skin was instantly feeling refreshed and cool.

Two exfoliations were carried. The first exfoliator was applied with light sweeping movements; the smell from this was absolutely divine it was really sweet in fragrance like you could almost eat it! I had to ask what this product was - Clarins Comfort Scrub, the ingredients in it are wild mango butter and sugar crystals that’s why it smells so nice! Molly applied my second exfoliator she said that ‘this may feel refreshing as this is a deep exfoliation and it’s eating away at any dead skin cells, so it leaves your skin super soft!’ The exfoliator was applied with amazingly soft brushes and my skin instantly felt revitalised!

A soothing eye mask was then applied to help keep them hydrated whilst a beautiful neck, shoulder and face massage was carried out using incredible oils. I carry a lot of tension in my shoulders and the relaxing massage just melted it all away!  The facial massage was something that I have never experienced before; every movement just felt out of this world! It was the most relaxing facial massage I have ever had, there were a lot of pressure points and drainage movements which helped the products absorb nicely in the skin.

Three different masks were then applied. The first to my décolleté; this was applied with soothing knuckle movements. A replenishing eye mask was applied across my eyes to help reduce any dark circles and puffiness and finally a refreshing mask was applied to my skin to help reduce impurities. Whilst the masks were working, Molly gently pressed the skin to help the mask absorb further.

The masks were then removed with warm mitts. Eye cream, serum and day cream were applied to my skin. The scent of lemon and oranges were swept across my décolleté and my therapist gently squeezed my hands and feet and told me the treatment was finished. I just didn’t want to get off the couch I wanted the whole treatment to happen again!

To complete my Clarins journey, Molly talked me through the products that she has used so that I could enhance my daily routine at home. Clarins Lotus Oil was recommended to me as my hero product as I do get breakouts and this oil will help to reduce them. I cannot wait to try this out at home!

This has been the best facial I have experienced to date and I cannot wait for my next one!

As a result of the Prime Minister’s announcement on 20th March, it with deep sadness that we have taken the decision to close Eden Hall and Hoar Cross Hall until further notice. Though we genuinely hope to be welcoming you back sooner, rather than later we will closely monitor government updates to ensure we are keeping our team members, customers and members safe.

In these unprecedented times, we have been genuinely touched by the understanding and support shown by our guests, members and staff alike. We thank you for your words and acts of kindness that have given much needed hope and positivity throughout these difficult weeks. Our main priority has always been our loyal customers, especially since temporarily closing the doors of our beautiful venues, putting your experience with us on hold.

If you have an existing booking with us, please don’t worry, we’ll be in touch to help as soon as possible.
If you have one of our gift cards with an expiry date before 30th June 2020, you do not need to do anything, we have automatically extended these until 31st December 2020.

We are also focusing on the wellbeing of our valuable team members, who are currently unable to work due to recent government restrictions. Our employees are a key focus for us at this time, as we hope you understand. Consequently, we are doing all we can to ensure a swift return and to reassure and stabilise their situation in the meantime.

For those of you who may still need to contact us, we have put in place a small dedicated team to respond to all enquiries. Please bear with us if our response isn’t as speedy as normal, we really are trying our best and will contact you as soon as we are able to.
