Instagram Spa Terrace Moments Giveaway 2025: Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter 

1.1 The Promoter is Hoar Cross Hall, Maker Ln, Burton upon Trent, Burton-on-Trent, DE13 8QS, managed by The Barons Eden Group Ltd. 

1.2 Any and all personal data supplied for the running of this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of this Promotion, by The Barons Eden Group Ltd. and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of The Barons Eden Group Ltd. and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with The Barons Eden Group Ltd’s privacy policy, available at: https://baronseden.com/privacy 

2. How to enter 

2.1 To enter the Promotion, you must:   

  1. Post your Spa Terrace memory (on stories or posts)

  2. Tag us @hoarcrosshallhotel

  3. Use #SpaTerraceTurnsOne

3. Promotion Period

3.1 The Promotion will run between 13.00pm (BST) on Tuesday 1 July 2025 and 23.00pm (BST) on Tuesday 8th July 2025 (the “closing date”) inclusive. 

3.2 All entries must be submitted by no later than 23.00pm on the Closing Date. All entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. 

4. Eligibility  

4.1 The Promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, excluding employees of The Barons Eden Group Ltd, their families (defined as partners, children, siblings, spouse, and life partners), its agents and anyone professionally associated with this promotion. 

4.2 By entering this Promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. The Barons Eden Group Ltd may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Promotion. 

4.3 By entering this Promotion, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 

4.4 The Barons Eden Group Ltd reserves the right to reject entries which, in the reasonable opinion of The Barons Eden Group Ltd: a) are in breach of the Terms & Conditions; b) contain any content that is offensive, harmful, objectionable, or which is otherwise unsuitable for publication including with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, or which could reflect negatively upon the name, reputation or goodwill of The Barons Eden Group Ltd. or any brand partner; c) contains or refers to any unauthorised third-party brand or reference any third-party names, logos and/or trademarks; d) promotes any political agenda. 

4.5 No purchase necessary, however, internet access and a valid Instagram account are required. 

5. The Prize(s)

ONE (1) winner will be randomly selected (“Prize Winner”) and the Prize Winner will receive the following (“Prize(s)”): 

ONE (1) Mid-Week Serenity Spa Day for Two experience at either Hoar Cross Hall, est. value from £418 (retail price as of 30 June 2025) 

5.2 The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and subject to availability. There is no cash alternative. 

5.3 The Barons Eden Group Ltd reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion and these terms if circumstances arise outside of its control. 

5.4 The Barons Eden Group Ltd accepts no responsibility for late, lost, indecipherable, or misdirected entries or for any failure of communication resulting from incorrectly supplied information. 

5.5 Prize details are correct at the date of publication. The Barons Eden Group Ltd reserves the right to substitute any element of the prize with a prize of an equal or greater value should any original element of the prize become unavailable for any reason, including the right to offer an alternative experience 

5.6 The Barons Eden Group Ltd aims to run a fair and secure Promotion, and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entries (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified, any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least twelve (12) months. 

5.7 The Barons Eden Group Ltd. will not accept Promotion entries that are:   

  • Generated automatically by a computer, 

  • Completed by third parties or in bulk, 

  • Incomplete 

6. The Winner

6. 1 ONE (1) winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period 

6.2 The decision of The Barons Eden Group Ltd is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. 

6.3 The Winner will be contacted via the Instagram account they used to enter the Promotion, by the official Hoar Cross Hall Instagram channel, @hoarcrosshallhotel - https://www.instagram.com/hoarcrosshallhotel/ 

6.4 The Barons Eden Group Ltd must make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. Provided no objection is received, if you are the winner, your surname and county of residence will be made available by The Barons Eden Group Ltd to anyone sending a request to marketing@baronseden.com within one month of the Closing Date of the Promotion. Without prejudice, The Barons Eden Group Ltd will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request. 

6.5 If you object to any or all of your surname or county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact The Barons Eden Group Ltd at marketing@baronseden.com. In such circumstances, The Barons Eden Group Ltd must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 

7. Claiming the prize(s) 

7.1 If you are the Winner of the Promotion, you must claim the Prize by no later than 17.00 PM (BST) on 8 August 2025. If you do not claim the Prize by this date, your claim will become invalid. 

7.2 The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. 

7.3 The Barons Eden Group Ltd will make all reasonable effort to contact the Winner. If the Winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their Prize by no later than 17.00 PM (BST) on 8 August 2025, The Barons Eden Group Ltd reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date. 

7.4 The Barons Eden Group Ltd does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize. 


8. Use of Shared Content

8.1 By participating in this Promotion, you grant The Barons Eden Group Ltd. the right to use, reproduce, and share your submitted content (including images, captions, and any associated media) across our social media channels, email communications, and advertising materials. This usage is for promotional purposes and may include, but is not limited to, showcasing entries to celebrate the Spa Terrace Moments Giveaway.

8.2 We value and respect your privacy. If you prefer not to have your content shared beyond the scope of this Promotion, please contact us at marketing@baronseden.com to opt out.

9. General

9.1 In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions will prevail. 

9.2 The Promotion and these Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect your legal rights as a UK consumer. 

9.3 This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, or Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter (The Barons Eden Group Ltd) and not to Facebook or Instagram and that neither Facebook nor Instagram have no liability for any element of this Promotion.
