How long have you been with Eden Hall?
This is my second time working at Eden Hall. I previously worked here for two and a half years before having my son. I returned 3 months ago working in a different area of the spa, the retail shop, which I am thoroughly enjoying.
What position did you start in?
I initially started working at Eden Hall as a Beauty Therapist in 2016.
Tell us about your career journey with Eden Hall, from where you started to where you are now?
I had visited Eden Hall as a guest a couple of times and absolutely loved the whole experience. Having trained as a beauty therapist many years ago and worked in various areas of the profession, I decided to come back to what I really enjoyed, therapy.
I worked as a Beauty Therapist at Eden Hall for six months before an opportunity arose for me to apply for the position of Therapy Department Manager, as temporary maternity cover. Having been a Business Manager in retail and Assistant Spa Manager previously, I was familiar with the role, but this was on a much larger scale. I covered the position for a year, working alongside such an incredible team.
During this time, I learned so much more about the business which was incredibly interesting. After the Therapy Manager returned from maternity leave, I became the Assistant Manager in the Therapy department for a year until I left to have my son.
After being a full-time mum for 2.5 years another opportunity presented itself for Retail Manager at Eden Hall, which fitted perfectly with my previous experience and family life.
What’s your favourite thing about working for Eden Hall?
I love the Eden team as a whole and my amazing team who I work with daily. It’s very much a family atmosphere, which offers continuous support and encouragement. The company is always developing and growing which is incredibly exciting and innovative.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Eden Hall?
The opportunities are there for people who work hard and are committed to being the best at what they do. You will feel valued and be rewarded for your achievements. Go for it!

Just over 2 years.
What position did you start in?
Therapy Manager.
Tell us about your career journey with Hoar Cross Hall, from where you started to where you are now?
I am now Salon and Retail Manager, after returning from maternity leave. I have a background in sales and love how exciting our salon and boutique is with ever growing brands and activities.
What's your favourite thing about working at Hoar Cross Hall?
The team, long standing and loyal. Everyone is upbeat and is proud of what they do.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career in your business area?
If you want a long career where you are passionate about pleasing guests, and making lifelong friends, you only need to apply!

I started on therapy which I loved, but I'm a people person and wanted to learn more, so I am now in Retail.

You never feel like you are on your own. Always have support.

Just go for it!
