What position did you start in?

A treatment scheduler at Hoar Cross Hall.

Tell me about your career journey with Eden Hall, from where you started to where you are now?

I started working at Hoar Cross Hall in 1991 as a Treatment Scheduler. I am a qualified beauty therapist and within a year I was promoted to Deputy Spa Manager. I worked at Hoar Cross Hall for 11 years and then an opportunity came up to help start and develop the therapy department at Eden Hall, the dedicated day spa just outside Newark. This was the brainchild of Steve Joynes Jr. I then worked my way up from Therapy Manager/Duty Manager to Operations Manager, before finally achieving my dream role as Managing Director.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Eden Hall?

The variety of the role. From a finance aspect to interacting with guests, to helping the staff, and doing what is needed at any given time to ensure that the business is run efficiently.

What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Eden Hall?

Look at working for us as a long-term career. With hard work and dedication, there is plenty of opportunity to prosper and develop.
