How long have you been with Eden Hall?

At present, I have worked at Eden hall for two years.

What position did you start in?

Commis Chef.

Tell us about your career journey with Eden Hall, from where you started to where you are now?

I started as a commis chef the first time I was here. Then, after travelling around Australia for a period of time, I came back as a commis chef. I have just recently been promoted to Chef De Partie.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Eden Hall?

I enjoy working as part of the kitchen team - both the hours and really good for a chef.

What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Eden Hall?

There are quite a few benefits of working at Eden Hall. Personally, I find the hours to really good, especially working as a chef. You also get discounts to spend at shops, which is handy. We also get to use the facilities, which is great, as I go to the gym. Within the kitchen itself there is really good teamwork, everybody works well together.

What position did you start in?

Commis Chef.

Tell us about your career journey with Eden Hall, from where you started to where you are now?

Joining Eden Hall just a little over four years ago has been such a positive experience. Working along side the head chef and the sous chef with exceptional trade knowledge has given me the opportunity to develop and improve my skills, which has resulted in my promotion.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Eden Hall?

My favourite aspect of Eden Hall is the work life balance especially coming from a chefs point of view.

What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Eden Hall?

There will be hardship and challenges ahead but this will give you what you need to grow into a strong, abled individual. With a supporting team, very competitive salary, training and work life balance there is nothing more you can really ask for.

How long have you been with Hoar Cross Hall?

  1 year 2 month.

What position did you start in?

Banqueting Head Chef.

Tell us about your career journey with Hoar Cross Hall, from where you started to where you are now?

I only started just over a year ago and have progressed within the team to Senior Head Chef.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Hoar Cross Hall?

 I’m lucky enough to work with a really great team.

What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Hoar Cross Hall?

Be prepared to work hard and be rewarded for it.

1 month.

What position did you start in?

 I’m working here as a Kitchen Porter.

Tell us about your career journey with Hoar Cross Hall, from where you started to where you are now?

My journey has just begun and I’m excited about progressing within the company.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Hoar Cross Hall?

It’s a lovely place to work and has a great atmosphere. The people here are friendly and I love that we are able to make use of the gym facilities.

What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Hoar Cross Hall?
