Tell us about your career journey with Hoar Cross Hall, from where you started to where you are now?
I started running food a few nights a week as a Waiter. I climbed the ladder, becoming Team Leader, and I now run our flagship Ballroom restaurant, sometimes as the sole manager.
What’s your favourite thing about working for Hoar Cross Hall?
My colleagues, because we are a family. We work closely together through it all.

I was an F&B Assistant and now I’m a Team Leader and loving life here at Hoar Cross Hall.
What’s your favourite thing about working for Hoar Cross Hall?
The use of the gym and working my way up to the dream job.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Hoar Cross Hall?
Jump in feet first and don’t’ give up. Your team won't give up on you! All the hard work will be worth it. If you want a chance to be someone or have a head for business studies, Hoar Cross will take you there if you really want it.

Tell us about your career journey with Hoar Cross Hall, from where you started to where you are now?
I started as a concierge, then Ballroom Host, then moved to Henry’s Assistant Manager and my journey is still ongoing.

Working in a Historical building with high standards.

F&B Assistant.
Tell us about your career journey with Hoar Cross Hall, from where you started to where you are now?
I started off at Hoar Cross in June in Maker Lane Café. Since then I have been trained in most aspects of F&B (Hugos, Henry’s and Ballroom). I am still an F&B Assistant and am flexible in where I work (all over the hotel) and I love it!
What’s your favourite thing about working for Hoar Cross Hall?
The supportive management and staff team. We always have fun while delivering exceptional service.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Hoar Cross Hall?
Understand that the business is very flexible, there is always a place for you, even if you think you’re not happy where you are, you can move somewhere else.
How long have you been with Eden Hall?
I've worked for Eden for 4 years.
What position did you start in?
F&B Assistant.
Tell us about your career journey with Eden Hall, from where you started to where you are now?
I feel even though I've not progressed in Eden Hall to a higher position that I've progressed in other ways I feel I have respect from the team and regular guests. I'm always ready to help anyone and ready to learn new job roles that could help my management team ie floor plan sales reports and help other team mates to know how to get this information. I feel the staff feel confident to come to me for help in any matter.
What’s your favourite thing about working for Eden Hall?
I love chatting to guests it can be very rewarding to know you have impacted on their day in good way. It's nice when you get complimented as this makes you know you have done a good job.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career at Eden Hall?
Be yourself, be hard working, have good integrity and be willing to help in anyway you can, and Eden Hall will make you it's family.
